Download Sierra Chart
- Visit the Sierra Chart download page HERE or the bookmark above to create an account
- Press the Download Sierra Chart button
- Open the newly downloaded File. It may be in your C:\Downloads folder
- Choose the Installation path (Recommending to use an SSD harddrive, not hard disk)
- Click Install, then Open up Sierra Chart
Note: Throughout this handbook the Data folder will be referenced often. Wherever you have downloaded the Sierra Chart folder to, within that will be the Data folder containing critical chartbook and data files.
Multiple Computers - Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart
To check how many copies are currently being used, check the Account Control Panel:
Most charting packages allow multiple copies of Sierra Chart to be downloaded.
- Download multiple copies of Sierra Chart
- Each will have their own settings and chartbooks
- Simply drag and drop copies of files/folders using a Cloud based drive
Note: Remember, most key files are stored in the User/SierraChart/Data folder
Note: There are copies of Sierra Chart software, and then within those copies are instances. Instances spread out computing.
